“Gulf 25” phenomena: Al-Abyad’s balance is zero from the “Best” award

The misfortune of our UAE team in the “Gulf 25” tournament was reflected in the fact that none of its members won the “Best Player” award in its three matches.

Al-Abyad’s participation was limited to the group stage, where he faced the teams of Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar, before leaving the narrow door of the tournament due to his fourth and last place in the second group standings.

In the opening round match, which brought together the Emirati team with pearl divers, the “Best Player” award went to Kamil Al-Aswad.

In the second round match, during which Al-Abyad faced his Kuwaiti brother, Mubarak Al-Fenini from the Blue Wave ranks alone with the award.

As for the third and final round match, in which our UAE team collided with Qatar, Tamim Moftah deserved the award, who scored the equalizing goal for Al-Annabi.
