Expanding the E-Sports Lineup with the ES Max

GuliKit is expanding its hardware ecosystem. The company’s e-sport series previously consisted of the GuliKit ES and the GuliKit ES Pro models. Now, a third device joins the family under the GuliKit ES Max moniker. The announcement debuted on the manufacturer’s official X account alongside a hardware teaser trailer. According to the video release, the ES Max ships in a matte black chassis sporting an Xbox-layout ABXY button configuration. It also incorporates asymmetrical thumbsticks and an 8-way directional pad.

Hardware layout adjustments continue on the back of the controller. The promotional footage highlights two rear macro buttons alongside a physical toggle switch designed for switching between PC and NS (Nintendo Switch) input modes. But the physical highlight centers on the trigger assembly. GuliKit integrated adjustable triggers featuring microswitch trigger-stops, allowing users to toggle between non-linear tactile triggers and linear Hall-effect triggers on the fly.

Under the Hood: HyperLink 2 and Low-Latency Performance

Latency numbers dictate success in competitive gaming. GuliKit equips the ES Max with its proprietary HyperLink 2 wireless architecture, shipping the controller bundled with a matching HyperLink 2 USB adapter. This connection stack mirrors the performance benchmarks found on other ES series hardware and the GuliKit TT Max. When running in wired mode, the controller delivers an ultra-low 1.87 ms input latency paired with a 1,000 Hz polling rate. Dropping the cable for the wireless dongle shifts performance to a 3.25 ms latency rating alongside a 730 Hz polling rate.

Precision hardware requires reliable sensor tech. The ES Max integrates Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR) sensor arrays to mitigate analog stick drift over extended lifecycles. For comparison, the entry-level GuliKit ES Pro retails for $29.99 on Amazon.

Release Timeline and Ecosystem Integration

Beyond standard inputs, the controller includes an onboard six-axis gyroscope for motion-aiming applications and native support for waking up Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles from sleep mode.
