Rebecca recently posted a photo of her face shortly after the concert: the bruised face, bruised eyes and scratched nose. According to her, the microphone hit her hard: “A few centimeters more to the right or to the left and I lost an eye”, she laments.
Embarrassed, Axl Rose reacted publicly via his Twitter account: “If it’s true, we obviously don’t want anyone getting hurt… at any point in the show. But for safety reasons, we won’t be doing that again. We won’t be throwing mics or anything like that anymore. or else in the crowd at our concerts,” he promised.
