Gwyneth Paltrow won this Thursday a million-dollar lawsuit against him for a ski accident that occurred seven years ago in United States. According to what he reported Varietythe jury unanimously decided that the plaintiff was the one who caused the incident.
After a few hours of deliberation, the ruling determined the sole responsibility of Terry Sanderson, the retired optometrist who collided with Paltrow in 2016 at a luxurious ski resort in Utah.

Sanderson had sued Paltrow in 2019 over the crash at the Deer Valley resort. The damages he listed were four broken ribs and permanent brain damage. In addition, he said that it caused him expenses in the order of 3.3 million dollars.

What Gwyneth Paltrow said during the trial
As the main argument, Gwyneth Paltrow claimed at trial that he was Terry Sanderson who hit her from behind. “He categorically hit me on that hillside”said the star as she stepped onto the dais. Besides, countersued him for the symbolic value of a dollar and representation expenses.
And he added: “Two skis entered between my skis, forcing me to open my legs, and then there was a body pressing on me, and there was a very strange grunt (…) I felt violated”.
During the process, which began on Tuesday of last week in Park City, Utah, the jury heard from various specialists detailing Sanderson’s historic doctor who Prior to the accident, he had suffered a heart attack, loss of vision in one eye, and psychological problems. In his closing arguments, the lawyers asked for financial compensation of 3.27 million dollars for Sandersonwho claims that the impact changed his personality and affected his ability to socialize with his family and enjoy his life.
