Gyeongsang National University External Affairs Division participated in the job fair held by the Korea International Trade Association at COEX Hall C in Seoul on the 21st and 22nd to expand employment opportunities for foreign students in Korean companies.
This event is the largest expo dedicated to foreign students in Korea, and consists of job interviews for about 100 domestic companies, recruitment briefings, special lectures on employment, consulting, and visa counseling for foreigners. The Korea International Trade Association’s job fair draws attention as a platform that provides foreign students with job opportunities in Korean companies and helps companies succeed in global competition by recruiting talents of various nationalities and backgrounds.
At this job fair, the Office of External Affairs supported foreign students to find employment in Korean companies and provided opportunities to actively demonstrate their capabilities and capabilities. In this fair, 14 students who passed the document interview at the company participating in the job fair and 14 international students who applied for an on-the-spot interview participated. Gyeongsang National University invited students to the first foreign student recruitment fair.
Kwon Yeon-jeong, director of External Relations at Gyeongsang National University, said, “Last semester, we held events such as employment camps, special lectures on career/employment, and employment consulting for foreign students to develop their employment capabilities. I hope that the efforts will come to fruition in producing practical workers.” Participation in this job fair is a result of Gyeongsang National University’s internationalization policy, and it is expected to strengthen win-win cooperation between foreign students and Korean companies and prepare a foundation for success in the global market.
