London – Manchester City player Erling Holland and Chelsea women’s team member Sam Kerr have been awarded the annual award of football writers in England. Holland, who won the Men’s Footballer of the Year award, received 82% of the vote.
Arsenal teammates Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard were left behind. Sam Kerr has won this award for the 2nd time in a row. Kerr was beaten by Chelsea team-mate Lauren James and Aston Villa star Rachel Daly.
