Dominic Suboslay talks about Haaland’s advice to him after completing his move to Liverpool.
Hungarian Dominic Suboslay, the new Liverpool player, revealed the advice given to him by the Norwegian Erling Haaland, the Manchester City star, after completing his move to “Anfield”.
Haaland has a friendship with Suboslay after they joined together at the Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg, before the Norwegian left for Borussia Dortmund in January 2020, so that the midfielder joined him a year later to the “Bundesliga” to play with Leipzig.
The advice that Haaland directed to Suboslay related to the way of life in England, as he directed him to buy a house in a remote area between the cities of Liverpool and Manchester, which would allow him to move between the two cities comfortably, away from prying eyes.
“We talked so much that Haaland advised me to find real estate, and it is very likely that we will become neighbours,” Suboslay said in remarks reported by the English newspaper “Daily Mail”.
He added, “I learned from him that many players live halfway between Manchester and Liverpool in a quiet area where privacy can be maintained, and on Monday I will see what he was talking about, which aroused my curiosity very much.”
He continued, “Of course, if we put our friendship aside during the Liverpool and Manchester City matches, it will definitely be a great experience to play against each other.”
Liverpool’s contract with Suboslay came as part of a plan to rebuild the team’s midfield, as the German “Reds” coach Jurgen Klopp is trying to reform his team after the poor performance last season.
