Habib Al-Adly’s lawyer filed a lawsuit against the Governor of the Central Bank to demand the refund of 5,439,621.80 Egyptian pounds, 20,035.80 euros, 161,491.59 pounds sterling, and 186,239.10 US dollars, while obliging them to pay the legal interest estimated at 4% annually, from the date of June 14, 2011 with Obliging them to compensate materially and morally for the damages incurred.
And the lawsuit, which “Masrawy” obtained a copy of, No. 1322 of 2021 north of Giza, which demands compensation for the value of what the Public Prosecution obtained earlier, was carried out in implementation of the ruling issued in Case No. 2977 of 2011 Agouza felonies, which is registered under No. 2011/62 Total. Which was canceled by the ruling issued in the session of June 14, 2014 with obligating them to pay expenses and in return for attorney’s fees.
It is mentioned that in the session of April 27, 2022, the case was not accepted to be filed against an unqualified person in relation to the second defendant in his capacity, and the inclusion of the Minister of Justice in his capacity was accepted in the case in form, and the defendant and the entered litigant were obligated in their capacity to refund the amount of 5439621.80 Egyptian pounds (five million, four hundred and thirty-nine thousand and six hundred pounds Twenty-one pounds and eighty piasters), the amount of 20035.80 euros (only twenty thousand thirty-five euros and eighty piasters of the euro) and the amount of 161491.59 pounds sterling (only one hundred and sixty-one thousand four hundred and ninety-one pounds sterling and fifty-nine piasters of the pound sterling), and the amount of 186239,10 US dollars (one hundred and eighty-six thousand, two hundred and thirty-nine US dollars and ten cents) with obligating them to pay legal interest at the rate of 4% annually from the date of the judicial claim until the date of payment, and to pay the plaintiff an amount of one hundred thousand pounds in compensation for all material and moral damages, and obligated them to pay the expenses and the amount of seventy-five pounds Lawyer fees.
