The Habsburg Files – Rise of a Dynasty
The rise of the Habsburgs to their centuries-long career did not come naturally. Hunger for power, calculation and many tricks paved the way for them. Two personalities in particular played uncompromisingly for victory right from the start: Rudolf I, the first Habsburg on the imperial throne, and Rudolf the Founder, who made his family fit for the long term with his forgery Privilegium Majus.
