Then, one of his close associates intervened and took advantage of these messages and leaked them to the press, and they were published at a time when those close to Haifa know that the latter allocates monthly sums to her family, according to Nawaem.
In addition, the sons of Muhammad Wehbe issued a statement denouncing the leaking of audio recordings of their father’s voice asking for in-kind and financial assistance, announcing the innocence of their sister “Haifa”, stressing that she is aware of everything that is going on regarding their father and that he does not need money for a surgery that is expected to take place soon.
