At 12:42 on August 6, the Shanghai Central Meteorological Observatory issued an orange hail warning signal: Affected by strong thunderstorm clouds, it is expected that within the next 2 hours, Baoshan, the northern part of the central city,Jiading、MinhangQingpu, Songjiang, Chongming and other places are more likely to have hail locally.
The Shanghai Central Meteorological Observatory announced at 4 pm that thunderstorms occurred in most parts of the city since the morning of the 6th, and the rainfall from 9:00 to 15:00 was counted.
