The government does not communicate with the federal states – open questions remain unanswered

Linz (OTS) – In February, Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer and Vice Chancellor Werner Kogler presented themselves as saviors for the local construction industry and the property plans of young families. “What happened next is completely irresponsible from a state policy perspective. There was no prior communication with the relevant federal states. But even afterwards the relevant authorities in the states were not informed. The first meeting on the housing package took place 37 (!) days after the presentation by the government leaders. Even more unanswered questions remain. A meeting followed this Thursday. This renewed exchange with the federal government also brought no planning security,” criticizes deputy state governor and FPÖ state party chairman Dr. Manfred Haimbuchner, the responsible housing officer, granted access to the federal government.

“As a level-headed person and responsible politician, I wanted to wait and see the federal government’s plans and ideas. After countless days of waiting and hoping for real improvements for the construction and housing sectors, which are so important economically and socio-politically, I can no longer remain silent. “In the next few days I will deal with the federal government’s political ghost story,” concludes Haimbuchner.
