Half a hundred women danced in the Raasik public house

Women’s group Rõõmulised from Raasik, Palmikud and Hoppet from Tallinn and Raasik’s men’s group Krõõt.

On Saturday, March 11, in the large hall of the Raasik community center, there was an hour-long folk dance concert “Woman and her nature”, where 4 groups performed in turn – the women’s group Rõõmulised from Raasik, Palmikud and Hoppet from Tallinn, and the Raasik men’s group Krõõt. There were 50 dancers in total. The instructor of all groups is Janne Kuuskla, who also performed a solo dance at the concert. “We talked to Janne a long time ago that we could do a joint performance of her women’s groups in the community center. Now was the right time for it, because March is Women’s Day and this year is the year of movement. It was also a birthday concert – Raasik municipality turned 31 years old on Saturday,” said Helle Vaga, manager of the Raasik community center.
