Hamas Fighters Giving Prisoners Sedatives: Ministry of Health Report

The Israeli Ministry of Health said today that “Hamas fighters gave the prisoners sedatives before releasing them” in the exchange deal to “appear happy.”

Dr. Ronit Endwalt, Director of the Nutrition Department in the Ministry of Health, and in the Knesset Health Committee, said that “Hamas gave the kidnapped people vitamins and sedatives to make them appear happy” before releasing them from captivity.

The head of the Health Committee, MK Yoni Mashreqi of the Shas party, said, “The Ministry of Health should publish a detailed report to health organizations around the world regarding the medical findings that were discovered following the return of the abductees.”
