The young actor Hannes Schmid from Hartkirchen can be seen in a somewhat dubious role in the season finale of “Bergdoktor” on Wednesday, February 21st at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 2. Short film and theater tour
For the Upper Austrian, this is the next big TV appearance after the lead role in the RTL evening series “Alles was counts” (2021). A lot has happened in the meantime, says the 33-year-old, who lives in Berlin with his partner, the actress Luisa Wietzorek. As director and leading actor, he shot the short film “Limbus” in Burgenland with Florian Noever: “The film was well received and was shown at several festivals,” says Schmid. Last year he toured Germany and Austria with the “Theatergastspiele Fürth” with the play “Beloved Witch”.
Hannes Schmid is currently busy with castings. In an international cinema production that will be shot in the United Kingdom from June, the chances are good, he says: “I’m in the final selection for a role.”
