Erfurt – The right-wing conservative German group Values Union said it decided to found a party on Saturday. The members gave chairman Hans-Georg Maaßen in Erfurt a mandate by a large majority to initiate the founding of a “conservative-liberal” party, according to a statement published on Saturday. The party will be founded so quickly that people can still take part in the upcoming state elections.
