LOS ANGELES (AP) — James Harden reached 25,000 points in his career, on a night in which he scored 28, and the Los Angeles Clippers achieved their sixth victory, defeating the disastrous Golden State Warriors 121-113 on Thursday.

Harden added 15 assists and seven rebounds, while Kawhi Leonard scored 27 points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Norman Powell scored 21 points, including 10 in the fourth quarter for the Clippers, who overcame Paul George’s first injury absence of the season and achieved their 11th win in 14 games.

Los Angeles put off a late rally by the Warriors and improved to 5-0 at home in December.

Klay Thompson scored a season-high 30 points, hitting eight 3-pointers for Golden State, which lost all three of its games on this trip and has lost 12 of its last 16 games.
