Reports said that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry secretly visited Portugal, after attending the Invictus Games in Germany.
Portuguese magazine Nova Gente reported that the couple enjoyed a quick “romantic break” in the Alentejo region, before returning to the United States last week. She said that they traveled to the village of Melides at the invitation of Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie.
Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank, works in marketing and sales at a resort near the village on the Alentejo coast, 130 km south of Lisbon. Eugenie and her husband were dividing their time between Portugal and London after Jack started working at the resort.
It is believed that Princess Eugenie, 33, and her husband will settle in Costa Terra for part of the year. She was described as Harry’s best friend, despite his differences with Prince William and King Charles, and she even traveled to California and visited him there.
The magazine confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex traveled to Portugal without their children, and described the trip as “top secret” and preferred to keep it secret. Express British.
