Enrique de Sussex is preparing for what will be the fifth edition of the Invictus Games, which will take place in The Hague, the Netherlands. Today, when the UK team was gathered preparing for the ceremony, Prince Harry surprised everyone in attendance.
The Invictus Games 2022 will take place from April 16 to 22, and among the participants will be the Duke of Sussex, who did not travel to the United Kingdom for his grandfather’s memorial last week, but will attend the games that he has organized and sponsored since 2014.
Prince Harry of Sussex made a video call to UK players, as the members gathered for a final training camp before the event takes place in the Netherlands later this month, where he took the opportunity to joke around with them a bit and ask them to give it their all in the upcoming competitions.

The Meghan Markle’s husband founded the games to aid the rehabilitation of injured or ill military personnel and veterans around the world by challenging them to compete in sporting events similar to the Paralympics. After being delayed due to health restrictions, the next edition of the international competition will take place in The Hague from April 16 to 22.
The 37 year old duke used his surprise video call to ask about former Royal Army Physical Training Corps instructor Vic Wales, who was one of the drill staff when he was a cadet at Sandhurst: “Is my PTI from Sandhurst here somewhere?”
Finding her, he said, “I can’t believe after how many years, 15 years, our paths are about to cross again. You used to yell at me so much. The duke seemed told he needed it and replied, ‘I needed it. Yes cool. That’s also pretty fair.”
Also, the room erupted in laughter when Harry commented on the fact that the competitors had had two years to prepare for the games, and therefore fitness should not be an issue: “You realize that no one, not just you, no one has excuses not to be in shape now,” he joked.
