Hashem: Some people’s persistence in the policy of arrogance will prolong the vacancies

A member of the “Development and Liberation” bloc, Representative Dr. Qassem Hashem, said that “the difficult and complex conditions and the suffering of Lebanon and the Lebanese that ended in the past year are still the same and leave negative effects on the daily reality of people, which increases the suffering and crises that need quick solutions.” And that is by restoring the regularity of political life starting from the presidency of the republic, and here lies the responsibility of the political forces with their parliamentary blocs to reach agreement and understanding on a consensual personality capable of gathering, communication and dialogue internally and externally.

He added, “This is what Prime Minister Nabih Berri sought through his dialogue initiatives, which were rejected by some forces under flimsy pretexts, because the composition of our system and the reality of our country require dialogue to be a permanent political logic to overcome many gaps and complexities, as long as we are under this system that The successive crises have proven the need to develop it in compliance with and implementation of the articles of the Constitution and the Taif Document in order to reach the true civil state, the state of citizenship and justice. People are getting worse day by day.”

Hashim’s words came after receiving dignitaries from the villages of Al-Arqoub and a delegation from the Red Cross Center in Shebaa, where he discussed with his visitors the social and life conditions, especially with the severe cold, the high cost of heating, and the emergency crisis in the Red Cross Center’s service.

He said: “When some people with a national conscience or what is left of it listen to people’s groaning, their suffering, and the living crises they face, it is assumed that all sectarian standards and interests fall from them, so that the interests of the Lebanese and their issues are the priority of priorities, and for this the government meets and searches for all solutions and solutions to the accumulated crises of electricity and water.” And medicine and food, because constitutions and laws are approved to serve the country and the people.”

As for the Red Cross center in Shebaa, Hashim made contacts with the concerned and central officials, and the Red Cross leadership expressed all positivity and promised to deal with the matter next week to serve “our people in Shebaa, in commitment to the issues of the people of the town and the human and national handicap.”
