The hall officials, in coordination with the Egyptian Table Tennis Federation and the organizing committee, prepared the hall that will host the tournament and its matches will begin today.
23 countries confirmed their participation in the tournament from various countries around the world, with the participation of more than 250 male and female players at various age levels, participating in competitions in the age groups under 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19 years.
According to the tournament program, junior competitions will be held during the first three days, October 23, 24, and 25. The next day, mixed doubles competitions will begin, and on October 26, 27, and 28, junior women’s competitions will be held, then mixed doubles competitions.
It is noteworthy that the Hassan Mustafa Hall Complex recently hosted the International Federation camp and witnessed for the first time the participation of the Chinese national team in a joint camp with the Egyptian national team and some African teams.
There were 56 players in the camp, including 20 Egyptian players, 16 from China, and 20 players from some African countries.
Egypt succeeded in hosting the international tournament last year in the Cairo Stadium hall, which witnessed large participation from various countries.
