Hastière: fatal fall at Rochers de Freÿr

A man lost his life yesterday morning following a fall at the Rochers de Freÿr.

These rocks overlooking the Meuse, near Hastière, are limestone cliffs very popular with mountaineers. The circumstances of the fall are not yet known.

The dangerous environment intervention group from the Dinaphi zone went to the site, as well as a crane truck, a boat, an ambulance and a team from Dinant’s SMUR.
