The amorous adventures of Elena Podkaminskaya are worthy of a whole novel. And the future actress experienced her first serious feelings at the age of 17, when she was vacationing with her parents in Evpatoria.

Walking arm in arm with her mother along the embankment, the girl heard beautiful music from the cafe. The young trumpeter played so soulfully that they decided to stop by and listen to him to the end. After finishing the performance, the guy invited Lena to dance, and then on a date.
– Yes, I know that at this age, many are already actively, as our beloved Shirvindt says, “react”, but my experience of communicating with peers was limited to innocent friendship, the actress once blabbed. – Therefore, I went to this meeting, accompanied by my father and mother. Maxim was a talented musician, he studied at a music school in Ukraine. I wanted him to be around, and Max entered one of the music universities in Moscow.
A beautiful romance began.
– I could climb to my beloved on the balcony with flowers, play my trumpet for her there, – Maxim Pustovit, who became a famous jazzman, recalls with sadness that time. – But I didn’t allow myself more – I was afraid of Lena’s parents. But when I went home to Chernigov, she secretly ran to me, and at home she said that she was going to her friend. Our relationship lasted two years, and then … Sorry, but somehow I don’t want to remember all this.
Shirvindt or Knyazev?!
They say that the affair between Podkaminskaya and Pustovit ended when Lena entered the Shchukin school. The girl has a lot of fans. And one of them was her teacher.
The sensitive situation was complicated by the fact that the mentor was married. Many suspected that the mysterious teacher was none other than the head of the Podkaminskaya course – Alexander Shirvindt. After all, Lenochka has always been his favorite.
“Well, Shirvindt was Papa Shura for all of us,” Gulnara Nizhinskaya, a classmate of Elena, smiled professionally when we asked her a direct question (Podkaminskaya herself flatly refuses to give out that teacher). – That man is younger, and for him it was far from the first affair on the side. Lena was very worried, but I won’t tell the details for her.
In addition to Shirvindt, another name was also called – Evgeny Knyazev, who now holds the post of rector of the institute. But also no evidence.
The star of “Kitchen” about that affair with a married man says this:
– I just wanted to be with him. It was very difficult for me to get out of this situation. I remember that my mother and I were in the Crimea, sitting on the seashore, and she came up with a game for me – to count the waves, and with each new wave I let go of this person from my heart. Now we do not communicate, but he had a colossal influence on me: both personal and professional.
Enraged Husband
Podkaminskaya became the only student on the course, whom, after completing her studies, Shirvindt invited to his theater of satire. Some time later, her future husband, businessman Alexander Plyatseva, also came to the performance with the participation of Elena.
“The man looked after me for two whole years, but I felt that he was not spiritually close to me,” the actress shares. – And finally he said: “Well, well, I am ready to disappear from your life forever. But can I kiss you once?” And somehow it so happened that this kiss then turned my whole life upside down.
Immediately after the wedding in 2009, Plyatseva started talking about children. But Lena was afraid. After all, her first pregnancy was interrupted at the eighth week.
“There were health problems, and I prayed at least once to become a mother,” Podkaminskaya admitted. – I remember that my grandmother was very worried and somehow cautiously suggested: “Helen, well, maybe take a baby from the orphanage?”
After undergoing treatment with “strong” hormones, the artist miraculously managed to give birth to her daughter Polina in 2010. The husband dreamed that his wife would leave her career and stay at home. But just during this period, Elena got the main role in the “Kitchen” and gained megapopularity. The marriage cracked at the seams when the actress posed nude for Maxim magazine.
Then rumors spread about Podkaminskaya’s office romance with shooting partner Mark Bogatyrev. And although none of them confessed their feelings, in the acting party they gossiped for a long time, as Mark almost committed suicide because of Elena.
Plyatsevoy was finished off by the public story of the star of the Voronins, Ekaterina Volkova, about how terribly and not without reason she was jealous of her husband, dancer Andrei Karpov, for his missus. During the filming of the show “Dancing with the Stars”, their duet became so close that Volkova almost filed for divorce. Karpov even celebrated his birthday not with his family, but with Lena in Paris.
Enraged, Plyatseva threatened Podkaminskaya that he would deprive her of communication with her daughter and drive her out into the street with nothing. Then it cooled down, and they managed to disperse peacefully. Alexander fully provides for their child.

- At the Theater of Satire, Podkaminskaya was initially mistaken for an upstart. Most of all, Elena was disliked by Olga Aroseva. For 13 years of work in one team, the people’s artist has never said hello to the artistic director’s favorite. And for many years, Lena received notes at the service entrance. “Weird,” she says. – I did not understand who wrote it, but, judging by the text, it was some actress from the theater who wanted to give me advice. Which one is also a mystery.
