Hawken Reborn is out this week exclusively on PC via the Steam store. The game will be shareware
505 Games has announced the mecha shooter Hawken Reborn, which will be available through the early access program on May 17 on personal computers on Steam.
Hawken Reborn will be distributed as a shareware model and will offer players a war-torn world of the future in which they can become mercenaries piloting combat robots.
It’s essentially a reboot of the original Hawken, first released in December 2012 on PC and then in 2016 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In 2018, the PC version servers were closed. The authors of the game then explained their decision by an attempt to “reorient resources».
