Obviously, Nate McMillan was asked about his intentions after last night’s game against the Lakers. His answer ?
“I’m here to coach this year. I’ve spoken to the owner several times, and our goal is to make the playoffs. I work for that.
I will check in with my family at the end of the season to see if I still have the inner fire. But it will be at the end of the season.”
No resignation during the season therefore according to the main interested party, even if he was of course not going to say the opposite behind the microphones. So, what should we take away from all this in the end?
What must be remembered is that the future of Nate McMillan – 58 – in Atlanta is more than unclear.
