“I have to see what my body is saying,” said Linz weightlifter Sargis Martirosjan regarding his future career plans following he had completed his second Olympic Games in Tokyo last year. The thousands upon thousands of kilograms or tonnage, as the Stemmers like to call it, that the 35-year-old has already achieved over the course of his long career are now making themselves felt. But Martirosjan, who came to Austria from Armenia in 2006, won’t let go of the dumbbell that easily.
