Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that he spends his day as Ukrainians do between taking cover and confrontation to protect Ukraine, expressing his regret for the casualties and the destruction of many landmarks in his country, as well as the infrastructure.
It appears that the diaries of Ukrainian President Zelensky during Russian military operation in Ukrainewhich entered its seventh day on Wednesday, is no different from what Ukrainians are doing by following the Russian war machine.
Zelensky, despite the war’s circumstances, accepted a quick press interview and talked about his wartime diaries, as well as confirming his presence and his presidential team in Kyiv.
He noted: “I have the same ceiling of freedom… work and sleep… that’s all…”.
The Ukrainian president expressed his sadness at not seeing his family, especially since the man had previously warned against targeting him and his family by Russia.
And when the reporter asked him: “Can you see your family? Can you see your children?”
“No,” Zelensky replied, “No, I can’t.”
The reporter asked him, “When was the last time you saw them?”
The Ukrainian president replied, “Before this war.”
Zelensky, 44, had a slightly elongated chin and paramilitary uniform inside a heavily guarded army building. He was moving and joking cautiously, but suddenly stopped listening to his team leader Andrei Yermak, who announced a new targeting.
Yermak informed him of the bombing of Babin Yar which contains a memorial, a historical monument in Ukraine.
“This is Russia,” said Zelensky. “Congratulations.”
The missile targeting resulted in the killing of a number of Ukrainian civilians. Zelensky grieved and regretted the outcome of the war machine against his country, vowing to continue the resistance in light of the presence of international support and a war that tilts against Ukraine.
An assassination attempt on President Zelensky was thwarted
The head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov announced that Ukrainian forces had thwarted an attempt to assassinate President Zelensky, according to a government message.
The letter warned of the entry of Russian subversive groups into Kyiv to hunt down President Zelensky and his family.
Danilov confirmed that a well-known Chechen special forces unit was behind the assassination attempt and was completely eliminated.
