And man of Colombian nationality was arrested by officials of the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc), for allegedly practicing dentistry illegally in the municipality of San Francisco.
This was announced by the director of the investigation body, Commissioner General Douglas Rico, when he identified the apprehended person as John Alberto Rodriguez Arias, 57who was approached by detectives from the San Francisco Municipal Delegation in the southern town.
According to Rico, Rodríguez operated in the parish Francis Ochoawhere presumably “He had a clandestine office, without health permits or academic training corresponding, causing irreversible damage to those who came to their consultations”.
The police chief said that the detective commission collected as evidence instruments and parts used for the practice of Dentistry, in addition to billing and “false diagnoses to patients” who attended in the aforementioned office.
The 23rd Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry in Zulia state is aware of the case, Rico pointed out.
