A 27-year-old motorcyclist from Ontario had the brilliant idea of posting a video of himself driving at 260 km/h on TikTok and Instagram.
Arrested by police on Thursday, Newmarket native Danial Loganathan faces multiple dangerous driving charges, York Regional Police said on Twitter, adding that the motorcycle was seized.
His ‘GoPro’ camera, which he used to film his exploits, was also confiscated for the next fourteen days.
If the young man is found guilty on all counts, he will have to pay a fine of $10,000.
