The Hospital Victorino Santaella, located on Bicentennial Avenue in the city of Los Teques, Guaicaipuro municipality, has a fully recovered and equipped Internal Medicine floor. This was announced by the governor of the state of Miranda, Héctor Rodríguez Castro.
The area now has sixty new beds, cardiology, pulmonology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, among other specialties.
“With this investment we exceed 500 beds in the hospital, becoming the first in Venezuela with the largest number of operating beds at this time,” said the Mirandina authority.
The recovery of this area of the hospital was achieved with the support of the UN Refugee Agency (Acnur) and the instances of the Bolivarian Government. “Even in difficult times we have managed to invest in works for the health and well-being of our people,” Rodríguez said through the social network Twitter.
