Juarez City.- During a carjacking, a man was shot tonight south of the city, reported agents from the Municipal Public Security Secretariat.
The robbery at gunpoint of a GMC Sierra truck occurred on Ramón Rayón and Durango streets in the Pradera de los Álamos subdivision.
There the driver refused to deliver the truck and the thief shot him in the leg, explained a municipal agent.
The report was made by the victim’s wife; The injured man was taken to a nearby hospital.
In the area, an operation was set up by the municipal police to find the person responsible and recover the truck; however, his arrest has not been reported.
