The authorities did not reveal the reason that led the man to call his nephew’s attention.
An episode of family violence ended the tranquility that reigned in the Alto de Las Brisas sector in Monagas.
Police sources indicated that a 47-year-old man was attacked with a knife to the chest, presumably by an 18-year-old nephew.
According to the victim, he called the boy’s attention for reasons that are still unknown. It transpired that the young man was furious and pounced on his uncle inflicting injuries.
The victim was taken to an assistance center and was identified as José Leonett.
