Sad news for all football fans. DAZN commentator Christian Scherpe died unexpectedly. He was only 24 years old. His hometown club FC Adler Meindorf announced this on Instagram. “Our thoughts are with the relatives and friends at this difficult time, to whom we extend our deepest sympathy,” it says.
Nothing is known regarding the cause of death so far.
Scherpe only celebrated his premiere as a commentator on the sports streaming provider DAZN on December 29, before he studied sports journalism. (mum)
