“He was very pretentious”: François De Brigode swings his worst guest on the news

Interviewed by our colleagues from Ciné-Télé-Revue, the public service journalist explains that he only had nice guests. One of them disappointed him enormously.

“It went very badly with Charles Aznavour, who came when the extreme right had won the elections in Austria. Before the antenna, I warned him that I was going to ask him a question on the subject. He braced himself saying he didn’t get involved in politics, I asked him the question anyway”confided François De Brigode to the media.

The journalist was all the more disappointed because he particularly liked the songs of the artist. “His attitude was unpleasant, he was brittle, he was very pretentious. Too bad because I liked the artist.”
