The experienced politician, who headed the headquarters of the Social Democratic Party during the elections, plans to return to work in the Rokiškis basin from May.
“I have worked in the pool as a manager with the functions of deputy director since the beginning of its opening. I really like this job, so I am returning to the same position again”, says T. Barauskas.
At the same time, T. Barauskas shared his political career plans with “Gimtouj…”. “I work as an adviser to Vidmantas Kanopas, a member of the Seimas, and I am considering running for the position of a member of the Seimas in the upcoming elections. After all, in these municipal elections, my personal result was very good – I was in second place after Mayor Ramūnas Godeliauskas. I collected 1,280 votes, and this is the second result compared to all the candidates of all parties, of which there were 216 in the district, in the context of the votes collected”, said T. Barauskas and added that he will decide on his candidacy in the upcoming Seimas elections together with the Social Democratic Party.
