WHILE, Waspada.co.id – In order to support and create security and public order (Kamtibmas), Belawan Port Police Chief AKBP Josua Tampubolon initiated a meeting of Pancasila Youth social organizations (Ormas) and Karya Youth Association (IPK) in Belawan.
The meeting took place at the Wira Satya Hall of the Belawan Port Police, Saturday (25/3), with the aim of avoiding disputes between the two mass organizations.
The Belawan Harbor Police Chief said the meeting was held, in order to get to know each other, respect each other, and maintain cohesiveness to maintain security and order in the Medan Belawan District area.
“In this meeting too, we made a statement of mutual agreement and discussion. We hope that our colleagues will no longer create problems on the field which will cause the situation to become unconducive,” said Josua.
“We also have to maintain religious values, especially since this is the holy month of Ramadan, so let’s increase our acts of worship and do even better,” added the police chief.
Josua’s hope is to take care of each other together and no more things to make noise, if there is a problem that cannot be resolved, it should be resolved by involving the government, sub-district heads, kepling, TNI and Polri.
“Let’s maintain peace in our area, so we can live in peace and quiet in this holy month of Ramadan,” he ordered.
The Chairperson of the Medan Belawan Pancasila Youth PAC, Suhendra, really appreciated the idea made by the Head of the Belawan Port Police, because it had resolved the problem of the brawl that occurred in Medan Belawan District.
“We support what the Belawan Port Police Chief has done for order and convenience for the community,” he said.
The Head of the Medan Belawan IPK, Herianto Laut, also expressed his gratitude for what the Belawan Port Police Chief had done. His party is ready to help and prays that there will be no more assumptions that the existence of the IPK in Belawan is a troublemaker.
“We are ready to support the good of Belawan which is safe and peaceful,” said the man who is familiarly called Heri Laut.
After the meeting, it was followed by the signing of a joint agreement to create and maintain a conducive Kamtibmas situation in the Medan Belawan District area. (wol/rls/d1)
