A head-on collision between two vehicles occurred this Tuesday evening around 9 p.m. near Mas Palegry. According to initial information, the two cars traveling on the road linking Perpignan to Villeneuve-de-la-Raho collided for reasons still undetermined. The collision between the two vehicles was in any case violent.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they immediately treated the first victim, a 63-year-old woman, who was quickly transferred to Perpignan hospital. For the second victim, the intervention was more complicated. Stuck inside his vehicle, a 57-year-old man had to be extricated. After several minutes of work, the firefighters managed to extract him and medicalize him. Sleepy, the injured person was immediately treated by Samu before also being transported to the hospital center.
