Early Monday evening there was a head-on collision between a van and a car on the Ennstalstraße (B320) in Radstadt. The 42-year-old car driver from Hungary had got into the oncoming lane of the heavily frequented B320 for unknown reasons. He crashed head-on into the van of a 32-year-old Austrian. Both vehicles were totaled. The B320 had to be closed once more and once more in the area of the accident and in the meantime it was open to traffic in both directions. Both drivers and their passengers suffered only minor injuries. Both drivers were not under the influence of alcohol. The exact circumstances of the accident are still part of the investigation. The Radstadt fire brigade was deployed with 25 men and four vehicles.
