The Braunschweig thrash institution HEADSHOT has been up to mischief underground for 30 years, but should also be known for thrash enthusiasm outside of Germany. Now the men and women are celebrating this occasion and are releasing a record with “…Makes Us Survive”, for which selected songs from the first three long players “Brain At Risk” (1995), “Emotional Overload” (199) and “Diseased” are new were roomed.
With the voice of frontwoman Daniela Karrer, who has been with the band since 2008, and with naturally flawless production, the songs are of course louder than ever, but have lost none of the charm of the time. Whether it’s fast breakers, stomping anthems, furious solos or even atmospheric parts, the right headshot is here for everyone who likes something with troops TESTAMENT, DEATH ANGEL and other representatives of the legendary BayArea.
Technically and also in terms of songwriting, HEADSHOT had a lot to offer even in their early phase and the birthday present to the fans of providing these songs with a fat, authentic sound was definitely successful and shows how timeless Thrash Metal still is rushes along.
