revealed Ministry of Health and Population On the results of the President of the Republic’s initiative to take care of the health of the mother and fetus, where 1,454 thousand women have been examined since the launch of the initiative in March 2020 until today.

In a publication, the Ministry of Health stated that more than 4,000 medical teams participate in the initiative, and the condition of the mother and newborn is monitored for 41 days after birth.
The Ministry of Health added that the initiative includes 50 referral centers for B virus and HIV, and 163 referral centers for syphilis patients.
The Ministry of Health has set working hours in the units throughout the official working days, from 8 am to 2 pm.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Health and Population launched 6 medical convoys within the initiative of the President of the Republic, a decent life, on 7 and 8 May 2022 in the governorates of Qalyubia – Fayoum – Beheira, Kafr El Sheikh – Beni Suef – Luxor.
The convoys provide free examination and treatment in the medical specialties of obstetrics and gynecology – family planning services – internal pediatrics – nose and ear, orthopedics – surgery – dental ophthalmology – heart – dermatology, radiology and analysis services.
