Health announces Egypt’s position on the monkeypox virus

The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population confirmed, through its official page on the social networking site Facebook, that antibiotics do not treat viruses, but rather bacterial infections.

The Ministry of Health and Population added that the misuse and overuse of antibiotics during the Corona pandemic may exacerbate the problem of antimicrobial resistance.

And the Ministry of Health and Population announced that Egypt was free of any infection with the monkeypox virus.
