The Health Insurance Council and the Saudi Center for Accreditation of Healthcare Facilities (CBAHI) signed an agreement at the Council’s headquarters today to develop supervision and accreditation mechanisms and work on data integration between the two parties.

The agreement, which was signed by the Secretary General of the Health Insurance Council, Dr. Shabab bin Saad Al-Ghamdi, and the Secretary General of the Saudi Center for Accreditation of Health Institutions, Dr. Salem bin Abdullah Al-Wahabi, included many aspects of joint cooperation aimed at empowering the health insurance sector, in order to provide the best services to beneficiaries with the highest standards. Quality and efficiency, achieving the strategic goals of both parties, working to improve sustainability and innovation, and stimulating digital transformation.

The agreement aims to enhance operational excellence through joint cooperation in the technical field and the technical aspect, which contributes to the ease of transactions and the speed of their completion with high accuracy, in addition to enabling insurance companies and service providers to provide the best services using modern technical solutions.

The official spokesman for the Health Insurance Council, Executive Director of Empowerment and Supervision, Dr. Nasser Al-Juhani, confirmed that the agreement comes within the framework of the strategic partnerships that the Council is keen to conclude with the leading authorities in order to achieve common goals and enhance the quality and efficiency of services provided to beneficiaries, indicating that the agreement includes joint cooperation in developing mechanisms Supervision, accreditation and performance indicators for health facilities, and integrated data, which will be activated technically and technically using modern solutions such as electronic connectivity to facilitate transactions according to approved systems and the sharing of indicators and data to enhance flexibility, smoothness and speed of procedures.
