The Medical Association of Antioquia, Asmedas, expressed concern about the high number of health personnel who is disabled due to being infected or suspected of having covid-19.
The alert was given by doctor Jorge Iván Posada Vélez, prosecutor of the organization, who stated that among those affected are nursing staff and other health professionals and workers, who are currently disabled or isolated.

“At the same time, we call on the directors and administrators of the hospitals to provide the personnel in their charge with all the elements of personal protection,” he said.
