Health priority – Living with diabetes

On the occasion of the congress of the Francophone Society of Diabetes, which takes place until March 24, at the Parc des expositions in Montpellier, we take stock of this chronic pathology. A chronic disease characterized by the presence of excess sugar in the blood called “hyperglycaemia”, diabetes affects more than 500 million people worldwide. A figure that has risen sharply in recent years, especially in low- and middle-income countries.
