There is no doubt that the issue of health reform has been quite controversial, especially for the time it has been trying to survive since it was brought up for debate in the Congress of the Republic.

This reform plans to set up health districts throughout the territory of La Guajira for 800,000 families with medical teams that will visit each ranch, neighborhood, family and rural area, bringing vaccines and conditions in the territory.
According to President Petro, it is the same health reform that has already been presented in Congress, but with the margin and the proposal to apply it first in all of La Guajira, in addition to the already known proposal to expand the entire hospital network. in the territory.
This would have direct transfer (that is, the management of money) to the hospitals of the Administrator of the Resources of the General System of Social Security in Health, which will have an investment fund that will be managed by the Ministry of Health in order to, thus, serve the entire population.

Among the ideas to make this possible, according to Petro, is to create the Guajira Water Institute, which will be the central place of operations. He also built the rancherías reservoir, headed by the Ministry of Potable Water and Housing.
The third idea is to have a completely viable aqueduct, containing two or more than 2 cubic meters and running through a good part of the north to the far north, explained President Petro.
