Health resolves the controversy over the effect of the Corona vaccine on female fertility

The Ministry of Health and Population resolved the controversy and rumors that there was a relationship between Corona virus vaccine and female fertility.

The Ministry of Health and Population said that there is no evidence so far to prove the effect of the vaccine on fertility in women, calling for the need to receive the vaccine from women who plan to become pregnant.

Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and acting Minister of Health and Population, appealed to citizens to receive coronavirus vaccines, as they contribute to protecting all family members from severe infections with the Corona virus and its variants, stressing in this regard the safety of all vaccines in Egypt and their obtaining approval for use. This came during a meeting held by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, to follow up on the process of vaccinating citizens with coronavirus vaccines, at the General Office of the Ministry of Health and Population.

The Minister confirmed the availability of all types of vaccines, as the total number of doses of Corona virus vaccines that have reached Egypt so far has reached 132,105,180 doses, including finished vaccines and raw materials intended for manufacturing in the production lines of the Holding Company for Bio-Products and Vaccines “Vaccera”, pointing out that the number of The doses that were consumed either as a first, second or booster dose amounted to 61 million 362 thousand and 576 doses.
