And “Abdul Ghaffar” said in a phone call to the “Hazrat Al-Citizen” program broadcast on “Al-Hadath Al-Youm” channel today, Saturday, that the average number of new infections reached 5 cases, and the average number of deaths was 3 cases.
He pointed out that there are 34 million citizens who have been fully vaccinated, and nearly 60% of the target group has been vaccinated, in addition to 3 million booster doses that have been administered.
He predicted that during the month of June, 70% of the vaccinated people will have immunity. But if we take into account the citizens who have already been infected with the virus and have acquired immunity, we will have reached 70% of the vaccinated.
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health confirmed that during the coming period, door-knock campaigns will be conducted in a number of governorates in order to receive vaccinations.
