Working conditions would have deteriorated significantly with a greater workload, more frequent on-call calls, and increasing financial burdens if the medical practice only relies on two doctors instead of three, which would harm the provision of care. patient care.

“In order for the Seyne medical office to function properly given the number of patients followed and variations in tourist populations, it appears that four doctors are necessary.“, continues the first magistrate who indicates to the Seynois and, more broadly, to all the inhabitants of the country of Seyne, that “the municipality is fully mobilized to resolve this problem“.

In the coming days, the first magistrate will receive the three current doctors to study the situation and outline the first directions of an action plan which will be implemented with the other mayors of the Blanche and Bès valleys, the Agency regional health and Provence-Alpes Agglomération whose president, Patricia Granet-Brunello, has already assured its support and support for its services.

“The search for doctors becomes, from today, the number one priority for municipal action. I will personally follow this file and ensure that we move forward quickly in order to complete the team before the departure of Doctor Rabehi“, concludes Laurent Pascal.

At the Seyne medical office, two interns are currently in training but, unlike doctors Rabehi and Extra who arrived this way, they have not expressed the wish to settle down.
