Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate has enjoyed an unprecedented boom in the health sector over the past years, and among these hospitals is Bella Central Hospital, on an area of 5,200 square meters, at a cost of 128 million pounds.
The hospital has already entered trial operation with the first surgical operation being performed with a capacity of 114 beds and includes many departments, including “orthopedics – surgery – obstetrics and gynecology – surgical and orthopedic operations – emergency and reception,” in addition to 30 dialysis machines, 25 nurseries for children, 4 operating rooms, and a collection blood bank.
The governorate witnessed the opening of 6 new hospitals, “Baltim Al-Namouji, Burj Al-Burlus Hospital, Sidi Ghazi Hospital, Qalin Central Hospital, and the excellent class building at Kafr El-Sheikh General Hospital.” Fouh Central Hospital was also developed and the Bella Central Hospital was experimentally operated.
The people of the governorate are awaiting the completion of the implementation of the Al-Hamoul Central, Motobas Central, and Riyadh Hospitals, the Emergency Hospital, and the Oncology Hospital at Kafr El-Sheikh University, in addition to a hospital for treating addiction and mental health. The Chest and Fever Hospital is being developed to provide advanced medical service to the people of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate.
