Healthy Body Practices: Fitness and Stretching Activities by IOMA Health Promotion Program

Starting Tuesday, January 9, A LOT turn on “Healthy body practices” which consist of physical activities of Fitness and Stretching. The Conferences are organized by the IOMA Health Promotion, Care and Prevention Directorate through the IOMA at your side program. These outdoor activities, as well as those at the Headquarters, are intended for all members over 18 years of age and with no age limit.

Body practices are an important part of a healthy lifestyle, as they provide various benefits for physical and mental health and help improve quality of life:

Reduce the risk of chronic diseases.

They improve cardiovascular health.

They reduce the risk of hypertension, high cholesterol and stroke.

They strengthen muscles, bones and joints for greater body flexibility.

They improve mood, reducing stress, anxiety and depression.

They improve the quality of sleep.

Organize your weekly calendar:

Los Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.IOMA Central Headquarters Auditorium, 46 No. 886, Fitness classes will be held, consisting of aerobic and muscle strengthening exercises.

Every Tuesday and Thursday in January from 6 to 7 p.m. in Plaza Malvinas, Av. 19 between 50 and 54, La Plata.
Every Saturday in January from 5 to 6 p.m. in Children’s Republic, Cno. Gen. Belgrano and 500, Manuel B. Gonnet.
